This election couldn't be more neck and neck. The voter turn out was huge today - far more than what folks expected in Maine. I'm a bit on the edge of my seat: Nate Silver sounds a lot less optimistic than he did earlier today. Rural votes are still coming in. This is pretty nerve racking. But this really really really could go in either direction.

The polls in Maine have closed. The latest that I've heard is that the turnout in Maine is unusually high. This should be good news for all of us who are for marriage equality since "the game" here is that in an off-election the people that would most likely vote, are older and more likely to be against marriage equality.
