Project Goals

This project has been on my back burner for way too long. The idea of this project is to help people be green in their own home. Being earth-friendly should be easy and affordable. The videos posted will provide tips and tricks as well as a slew of great resources to allow you to be green on a daily basis in your own lives.

It's not environment-related, but please check it out anyway.

Russia is a strong, independent country - but we all live in a globalized world. If this bill is signed in to law, I will not and cannot travel to Saint Petersburg, and will urge all of my friends and acquaintances to follow suit.

Julia Bauer created a website called Protego For The Planet (see link below)

It is an amazing idea, and I am very excited for it to open.

I encourage you to look at it!

Never doubt that you can change the world. Just think how many people there are out there who want to do something good. We are all just one person. But, together we are powerful.

I started to become a vegetarian when I was about age 9. I'm a vegan now and, maybe I havent changed the world or made any life changing achievment or written a great philosophy about existance but, if I hadnt become a vegetarian there would be more dead animals, more pollution, more land used to grow crops to feed to cows and sheep instead of feeding the plants to people ... We all make a difference. A whiles ago I was walking along with someone that tossed their coke can on the ground and I was horrified (I picked it up lol). I asked why they had done that and they replied *well everyone else does*. Aside from the fact that around here most people actually dont do that, even if it's true, it doesnt make it okay for us to do that, too. Why add to what is already a mess?  Why not lead by example and pick up a coke can? We all make a difference, it might not be immediately apparent or obvious but, every action has a consequence ... good or bad.

I saw a great grey owl the other day - and the fact that humans around the world are destroying habitats for creatures like this just makes me sad - and I wish I could do something to prevent it - but what can a 13 year old do whilst facing the whole world - not many people will listen - and if they do, it probably won't stop them. when I was younger, I vowed never to have a cell phone of my own, because even one phone takes a bit of mining, and I feel that if I am in so much need to have short, odd conversations on a tiny screen, or talk to someone, I might as well use a computer of phone which my family already owns, why invest in something that has toxic chems. and destroys the world, and doesn't even give you good service?

Just so someone can be cool? well thats NOT cool. at least not to me.

I agree with you. We must protect the environment because it is Mother Nature who provides us with food and shelter.
