At times I have nerve but mostly I have chivalry and daring. I always hold the door for people (something that a lot of people have forgotten) and when someone is cold I offer them my coat although they say "aaww that's sweet" but don't take the coat. If you complain you are cold then why don't you take the coat? Someone please explain that to me.) I am 19, a huge HP, Science Fiction, History, English Lit and astronomy fan. I plan to transfer to UA (Go wildcats!) after I get done my A.S. in History at my community college which I am still in. I want to get a degree in Astronomy at UA. Hope to make friends and help us rise up and win the Cup! Oh I also was a co-founder of my high school's STAND club. If you want to ask me about the time with the State Department to hear a great story.

Comment by Melissa Green on October 18, 2011 at 11:20am: Look, I don't know if either of you listened to what I said before but here is the main thing- I loath anyone who is truly evil. I would hope that people would agree with that and I am sure you do. I do not paticularily like the sytherin house-No! I do not, because I am a Gryffindor and that is who I am. I know not all slytherins are bad, and i clearly stated that before. But you can not denie the truth of the matter- alot of the horrible and evil people ie(Voldemort) belong to the Slytherin house, and i strongly detest any one evil, or following Voldemort. And one more thing, just fyi- the world is never going to all get along in pure peace, hate and evilness is also a part of life. It's just a fact, and it's good verses evil, the neverending battle. The gryffindors people are not going to make friends with people like malfoy, and no one decent is going to try to co-opporaite with Voldemort. If you want to know why- he is pure evil and deserves to die, which is exactly what happened. thank you.

Comment by MaryPotter on October 13, 2011 at 4:40am: I'm not saying all Slytherins are good, but something shown very much in Harry Potter is that no person is all good or bad. "We've all got both light and dark inside us. What matters most is the part we choose to act on. That's who we really are" Look at Sirius- he was a true Gryffindor, but he was horrible to his house elves. And Snape was a hero, but he was still a horrible person at times. Something Dumbledore taught me is that we shouldn't judge people by things like what house they belong to, because "it is our choices...that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities".
