Brigid - NaNoWriMo is "National Novel Writing Month," where participants write (someone please correct me) 50,000 words for a book! Some of the more experienced members even write more than that!

Hello! I don't know what NaNoWrMo stories are, but I look forward to learning about them!

Max; I always have problems with that. I get so frustrated when I don't get to prove my point of view. And it seems rather problematic to explain things to a book...

It's really great when you can be appreciative of a book while fervently disagreeing with it (case in point, The Stranger by Camus). :-)

Has anyone read Sophie's World by Jostein Gaarder? It's a fantastic novel about philosophy and possibly my favorite book! I don't agree with most of what it says, but it really gets you to think.

Hi Sarah, I haven't yet but I am going to write myself a note for when I go to the library next, so I don't get there and say, now what was I going to look for?

Have anyone read Eli the Good by Silas House?

Great news, I'll start to read it tonight!

I literally just joined but I've already read lots of the books that have been featured so I guess that's a good start! I especially liked the Book Thief and The Perks of Being a wallflower.
