Do you play an instrument? Do you wish you could? Are you involved in the arts, such as acting or singing? I'd love to hear how music and the arts incorporates into your life, whether it be with an instrument such as the piano, or with acting, singing, or dancing. Or anything else you can think of!

I play the piano, ukulele, guitar, and am on my way to learning the saxophone. I took a few violin lessons, but not enough to say I am a violinist. I often find myself humming Hedwig's Theme..  I also sing in my school's choir and a cappella group. I love being involved in musicals and plays, and, well, I love monologues. What do you do?

Most of my free time is spent in rehearsals, for plays and such - I'm performing in Scotland this summer at the FRINGE festival with my theater troupe!

I also play piano, drums, and mess around with a synthesizer called a MOOG.

Can't sing for crap, though I really wish I could!
I play piano. I mostly taught myself and played by ear, but then i got a couple different teachers.
I wish i played more now, though.
I'm in band (just finished marching band camp today, actually!), and I play french horn/mellophone. I also really like to sing, and I just recently started taking voice lessons (:
Ah, and I have a Harry Potter sheet music book for horn. :D
Yes, i absolutely love to sing. As a matter of fact i have a show on Friday! I'm in my school's glee club and select chorus. I also used to play piano (but i stopped now i'm no good at all), play tube, viola and am learning guitar. Also in school i'm apart of Genesians, which is basically our Drama group. The arts are my life. I've been acting for the lonngest time as well i've been busy with school so i havent really been on stage for a while but i do work behing the scenes!

I do anything related to art and creativity. Period.

Yay arty people!
Scotland, wow! I would love to hear more about what the FRINGE festival is and what type of plays/performances you do with them/by yourself!! Awesome!

Same here as far as the rehearsals go!

My troupe was supposed to perform at the Fringe this summer, but we couldn't get enough funds to go :(

But, we ended up doing a play called Metamorphoses, and actually built a pool for the set (as it was a requirement for the show!)

I also do some singing, but mostly acting! And I color in my hello kitty coloring books if that counts as art!

I'm a card carrying thespian! I love doing/ participating in theatre, it's my life! I do plays at school, take acting classes and hold classes as a CIT at my summer camp. Music is a huge part of my life too. I play flute and guitar. I can't sing well but I do around the house and a camp!
The arts are a major part of my life! I have played the violin for nearly five years and it is one of my main passions. I played flute for two, but have since forgotten how, and I am learning guitar. Violin is my favorite, though! I also enjoy singing. I sang in my synagogue's youth choir for several years, but I am now too old; I still sing in school. I danced hip-hop for one year, tap for three, and I did ballet for about seven years before I had to give it up to pay for violin lessons. I also love acting, but there aren't many opportunities in my school or my area; there are a few summer camps, but they are extremely expensive and my parents aren't interested in paying for them.
Wow, there are so many multi-artistically talented people here! Applause for you all! I LOVE the Arts as well, though I am not terribly good at any of them. I play trumpet, draw, write, and sing, all in a mediocre fashion, but I do love all of them. Mostly I like to appreciate the work of great artists of all kinds, and am hardly ever without some kind of music playing (literally or in my head)-- I'm fairly sure I would die without Music ("Ah, music. A magic far greater than any we do here" -Dumbledore, Sorcerer's Stone). I'm especially in awe of all of you actors (and actresses? or is "actors" purpousefully and professionally ambiguous?). I've never acted myself, but I would love to sometime, and really love to watch performances.
i attend a performing arts school, and i love it! it is such a wonderful experience. my drama class is a great group of friends. the school is designed to simulate the real industry, so auditions and rehearsals are very professional. some of our shows tour to schools and competitions.

i take drama and vocal music, along with dance for PE. Music classes are offered, as are tech, creative writing, graphic design, and broadcast media classes. i plan on taking as many as i can during my time there.
I haven't been involved in theatre in years, but I absolutely love it. I wanted to be an actor on Broadway for a time, before I got in a car accident that made my coordination go drastically down (you can't really tell, as it isn't that bad, but it's enough to make learning to dance impossible.) I love singing as well. I can't play an instrument, though I know a few songs on guitar. I mostly enjoy acting and singing. I also love the technical aspects of theatre and film-I've worked on crew for a few plays. My love for theatre and film making real started when I watched the special features on The Lord of The Rings. (=
Instruments: flute, saxophone, piano, ukulele, bass and whatever else I need to pick up :) but those are the main ones.
Singing: Meh. I love to sing though I'm still trying to figure my own voice out. I'm in a chorus and show choir at school and participate in musicals as much as possible.
Acting: I'll participate in plays too :)
